Ιώ Μανωλέσσου & Νικόλαος Παντελίδης: Η έκταση της ελληνοφωνίας στην Κάτω Ιταλία κατά την περίοδο από τον 11ο έως τον 19ο αιώνα

The present contribution offers an overview of the available primary and metalinguistic sources which provide evidence about the geographical spread of the Greek-speaking zone in Southern Italy during the Late Medieval and Early Modern period. It also discusses a number of linguistic features, phonological and morphological, which are first recorded in these sources, and shed light on the genesis of the local Greek dialectal varieties.
