About Glossologia: a Greek annual journal of general and historical linguistics

The journal is dedicated to Greek linguistics. It publishes contributions from all areas of linguistics, independently of specialisation, on aspects of the Greek language (ancient, medieval or Modern Greek) and/or its comparison with other languages. No specific linguistic theories or trends are given preference. Papers accepted for publication are strictly selected on the basis of scientific quality and scholarly standing.

This is a fully open access journal with no financial barriers to publishing for authors. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, witout asking prior permission. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

All articles are published under a CC BY-NC-ND licence. Authors retain all rights.

This is a peer-reviewed journal: articles are to be published following editorial review or anonymous peer review, according to editorial decision.

The journal is published by the Department of Linguistics, School of Philology, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. It was first published in 1982 by various publishers, while exclusive online publishing started in 2010.
